GREEN CARTS

WHEDco works with the New York City Department of Health to nurture entrepreneurship by assisting residents in opening Green Cart businesses. Our staff offers workshops and technical assistance to prospective Green Cart business owners to ensure that our clients have the information and resources necessary to succeed as food vendors. WHEDco also provides Department of Health-certified Green Cart storage space in our building, Intervale Green, to make owning a Green Cart business more affordable.
