Yankees Hit Home Run for WHEDco at Benefit and Ballgame
July 25, 2011
Friends and supporters gathered to celebrate WHEDco's work at the 2nd annual Benefit and Ballgame, held on July 25th at Yankee Stadium.

Nancy Biberman, WHEDco's President, and Katie Aylwin, Director of Education and Youth Development, celebrate with girls in WHEDco's Youth Development programs.
Before the Yankees played the Seattle Mariners that night, the entire stadium welcomed students in WHEDco's Youth Development programs, who were invited onto the field. These WHEDco students participate in the Yankees' Healthy Home Plate Program, which allows them to meet weekly with a team of Yankee Stadium chefs to learn how to cook healthy and delicious meals.
WHEDco honored mcgarrybowen, Kim Jasmin of the JPMorgan Chase Foundation and Dr. Jane Bedell, the Assistant Commissioner of the Bronx District Public Health Office, for stepping up to the plate to help WHEDco build a greater Bronx.
